The event will be on Friday\, November 22\, from 7:00-10:00 PM at the New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI). There will be live entertainment from Eureeka Starfish\, an open bar\, food\, music\, dancing\, a silent auction\, and all the great fun you’ve come to expect from our annual gala. \nWe will also be presenting this year’s Trailblazer and Community Impact Awards\, honoring those who have gone above and beyond to be of service to our community. The winner of this year’s Trailblazer Award is Kenneth J. Mitchell. The winners of this year’s Community Impact Award are the 2024 Southern Decadence Parade grand marshals: Jeffrey Mayeux\, Vanessa Carr Kennedy\, and Paribe Meyer. \nThis year’s theme is DECADES – dress in the style of your favorite decade!(Costuming is encouraged\, but not required. Business casual is OK too.) \nPlease note: this event usually sells out in advance\, so be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible! \nAll funds raised will benefit NOAGE\, helping to ensure that we can continue to provide services and advocacy for local LGBTQ+ elders.
